The Volts Show
Sierra Alpha are Martin Goddard - vocals/guitar; Stuart Davies - vocals/bass; Andrew Harries - vocals/keys; Andrew Evans - vocals/guitar; Simon Beecher - drums/percussion; a 5 piece multi-genre-influenced band from South Wales who formed in August 2007.
With only the ambition to create quality pop music, 'pop' in the true sense of the word... The lads headed off to a friends house to record a demo and set to make the most of 2007 by playing gigs at every opportunity. Consequently, they were soon recipients of a sterling reputation for being a hard working live band delivering an energetic and charismatic performance every show.
In the little time Sierra Alpha have been together they have performed at the 'UK National Songwriting Finals 2007', were the overall winners of 'Airplay - Live, Local & Unsigned 2007' and were winners of 'The Volts Show - Wales - Battle of the Acts 2007', which featured the cream of the crop from the unsigned world!
2008 is looking bright for Sierra Alpha, having started recording their debut album with the legendary Russ Hayes in North Wales, they are set to hit towns and cities all across the UK to extend their ever-growing fanbase providing "Caramel dripping candy for the ears..."!
